Energize Your Relationships with Chakra Charging for Two

Are you ready to revitalize your relationship? Even an already wonderful relationship can use a little more spice now and then, and Chakra Charging for Two just might be that extra ingredient you need.
Chakra Charging for Two is a powerful exercise and is only briefly mentioned in the book Quantum-Touch: The Power To Heal by Richard Gordon. As the book states:
[Chakra charging] is a lovely healing and balancing technique where both people are simultaneously giving and receiving. Mutual chakra charging can be a marvelous way to share love, to relax, to experience healing, or to drift into wonderful, altered states of consciousness.
As a relationship coach, I am constantly searching for tools and techniques couples can use to enhance and deepen their connection. This particular technique is one of the most beautiful and most effective I have seen. With regular practice, the possibilities of how you and your partner will benefit from this are endless.
For those of you who may not be familiar with chakras and what they do, I will quickly say here that chakras are primary energy centers in the human body. According to the Lazaris Model there are 12 known chakras, but those most commonly worked with are the first 7. The seven main chakras are described as being aligned in an ascending column from the base of the spine to the top of the head. Each chakra is associated with a certain color, multiple specific functions, an aspect of consciousness, a classical element, and other distinguishing characteristics: RED Base: Kundalini: Root Chakra: Located at the base of the spine. Contains the primary 8 cells that have all of the knowledge of creation and remain the only cells in your body that do not change in your lifetime. It grounds us in the physical world. ORANGE Spleen: Located just beneath the navel, and related to our sexual and reproductive capacity. Blockage manifests as emotional problems or sexual guilt. YELLOW Solar Plexis: Seat of Emotions. Gives us a sense of personal power in the world. Blockage manifests as anger or a sense of victimization. GREEN Heart Chakra Blockage can manifest as immune system or heart problems, or a lack of compassion. Heart Center - Seat of the Soul in the hourglass of time
BLUE
Throat Chakra Tied to creativity and communication. Feels pressure when you are not communicating your emotions properly. INDIGO Third Eye: Pineal Gland A physical eye with the capabilities of looking upward. PURPLE Crown Chakra Connects you with message from higher realms. Can be experienced as a pressure on the top of the head. Practicing Chakra Charging for Two allows you and your partner to amplify the life force energy in each other. and it is a very simple exercise. This field of energy creates a wonderful space for your life and relationship intentions to be placed. You can say your intentions silently or verbalize them aloud. Interactive Video Workshops Updates
Beginning January 1, 2008, all paperwork for completed video workshops that you have facilitated, must be received by the QT Office for processing no later than six (6) months from date the workshop was held. Practitioner Requirement Update
As of February 1, 2008, no more than 20 of the 60 required hours to become a certified practitioner may be on self, plants, animals and distant healing.
Applications received after February 1, 2008 that exceed 20 hours of sessions on self, plants, animals and distant healing will still be given credit provided those distant healing sessions were completed prior to February 1st. If you are in the process of becoming a practitioner and have already completed 20 or more hours towards the categories of self, plants, animals and distant healing, please ensure that the remainder of your sessions are hands on. (Please note: If a distant healing session takes place in conjunction with a telephone or chat room conversation, it is still considered a distant healing session). Although distant healing is as effective as hands on healing, Richard Gordon would like to emphasize how important it is to have "in person" client experiences. Are you thinking about becoming a Quantum-Touch Practitioner or Instructor?
Quantum-Touch is working to provide greater service to our instructors and practitioners. Some of the ideas we are working on are providing Continuing Education Hours to massage therapists through a national continuing education organization for the Live Basic QT Workshop taught in the United States, providing a higher level of website tools, and providing additional marketing tools through videos, articles, teleconferences and webinars. As part of this, we are raising the certification fees. As of Feb. 1, 2008, the certification fee for becoming a Certified QT Instructor will be $300.00 US Dollars. The certification fee for becoming a Certified QT Practitioner will be $200.00 US Dollars.

A while ago, I visited with a lady who has about 15 cats who were all former stray cats that she had taken in. She asked me if I could run energy for some of the cats with health problems and I said sure and went to work. Some cats loved getting the energy while others shied away. She told me that she specifically wanted her Siamese cat named Bishop to receive some energy for his allergies. She brought Bishop in and put him on my lap. Then looking at me very sceptically, he jumped off my lap. A different cat came in and loved receiving the energy. Bishop continued to stay at a safe distance looking at me with great distrust.
I returned for a visit about a week later. The same cat that had been on my lap getting energy came right away and wanted more. She settled down and just purred away when suddenly Bishop jumped onto the couch, came over and pushed the other cat away. He then settled down into my lap and happily received the energies for his asthma. We had a good laugh - even a Bishop can get converted.

While eating breakfast two days ago, I broke off one of my molars. About an hour later, I noticed a bitter taste on that side of my mouth and my jaw was starting to throb slightly. I got in to see my dentist as an emergency patient and he decided the tooth had decayed, which is probably why it broke easily, and was not savable. I was prepared for an extraction when I went in and agreed with him to extract it. This was the last molar in the back of my mouth, so I was a little worried and ran energy while the numbing took place. The procedure went VERY well and I was given prescriptions for 800mg of Ibuprofen and Vicodin. Anticipating much discomfort when the feeling returned, I was told to take one dose of the Ibuprofen when I got home BEFORE the feeling came back and to not wait and see how bad it gets first. Then if needed, take the Vicodin. I ran energy on my jaw most of the way home and didn't even stop to fill the prescriptions. I took 800mg worth of OTC Ibuprofen when I got home as instructed and I was supposed to take another dose 6 hours later, but completely forgot as I didn't need it. So, I not only didn't need the stronger pain medicine, but I never even took another dose of the OTC medication!
Cindy Miller USA While visiting my neighbor, his big dog came over to me. My friend stated the vet wanted to do surgery on the tumor on the dog’s back, but was very concerned about the outcome. I started running energy into the tumor and the dog would wander away, and then come back. When he wandered away I would do distant healing; and when he wandered back, I would run energy directly into the tumor again. Understanding my job is to run the energy only, so I left without thinking about results. My neighbor told me later that the next day the tumor opened, drained, and the dog is well.

1) My niece, Renee, was born with many, many challenges: two of which are that she has insulin-dependent diabetes and that she has bipolar disorder with schizoid affect. It is a real challenge to keep her stable, so she sees her doctor quite frequently, and almost every time her medications have to be adjusted upward so that she doesn’t wind up going bonkers.
On December 16th, I phoned her mom (my sister Becky) to ask permission to work on Renee’s diabetes to see if we could reduce the need for insulin. Becky asked if I would be willing, instead, to work on Renee's cholesterol/triglyceride levels since the medications have shot those numbers so high that she could possibly die in a pretty short period of time. I was shocked, because I’d not known that before – so I immediately began doing distance healing on Renee’s whole body, but with a focus on cholesterol/triglyceride levels and I have worked on her every morning since then. On December 24th, Renee had another checkup; but this time, instead of having her medications increased (as has been the pattern for years), the lab results showed that Renee’s cholesterol/triglyceride levels were normal. Becky was so surprised that she double checked the name to be sure there had not been a mixed up in the labs…but the results were there in black and white…normal. Hooray for QT!!!!
2) Recently my friends, Mark and Elle, came over and I worked on Elle's neck because it has been torqued out of line and very painful ever since the two of them were involved in the car accident where they wound up in a ditch (a deer hit the front of Mark’s car, and they spun out). In that accident, Mark broke his collarbone when his body hit the door, but he healed up nicely. Elle, on the other hand, was thrown so violently through the air in Mark’s direction that the seat belt snapped her head very sharply; and she got really bad whiplash. Since then, she’s had numerous treatments with chiropractic, acupuncture, and massage, but nothing had worked until the QT treatment on Sunday. After about 10 minutes of QT, she suddenly felt her neck fall into its proper alignment, and the pain went away. I spoke with her last evening, and she was still feeling fine…which hasn’t happened with any of the other treatments she’s had. 3) The third story has to do with an on-line healing circle that I belong to…every Sunday we get an email with a list of people on whom to do distance healing, and extra names get added from time to time. Last week, the extra was a 20-year-old guy named Elliott, who had to drop out of college because of extreme debilitation that the doctors haven’t been able to figure out. For months, he hasn’t been able to get out of bed, and no one knows what to do for him, because no one knows what’s causing the problem. I began working on him and asked the moderator to please give me an update as soon as she heard anything. After 2 days, his mom (who doesn’t know anything about distant healing) shared that he is now out of bed and feeling much better. She said, “Please keep sending prayers and doing whatever it is that you’ve been doing.” I’m not saying the other healers’ efforts haven’t impacted Elliott’s recovery – but I’m also convinced that QT played a very large part. During a weekly run with the Trail Running Club through trails buried in 12 inches of snow, I discovered that I could use the QT Body Sweep technique to lighten my footfalls in the snow! One hazard of running through deep snow, that has a thin crust of ice on the top, is that you never know when a heavy footfall will break through the top layer, sending you plunging knee-deep in snow and possibly causing injury. In the very least, it’s strenuous and uncomfortable.
I became so aggravated with breaking through the top layer that I automatically started sweeping energy up through my feet, keeping the intention of having energy constantly moving upwards through my feet and legs and it worked! It somehow lightened my running steps, because I stopped breaking through the snow! I noticed that if I lost my concentration and forgot to sweep up, I would begin breaking through the snow again.
It is also interesting to note that the woman who was running in front of me on the trail was at least 20 pounds lighter than me, yet broke through with almost every footfall. Perhaps at next week’s trail run, I’ll share the Body Sweep technique with her!

Horses heal from painful injuries with Quantum-Touch. A healing story told by Monique Verhaar and Piet Elsinga and translated by Linda Menkhorst.
The very first time we (Piet Elsinga and Monique Verhaar) treated her, she felt like a dead horse. There was no response from her upper body; it was like poking a piece of meat you buy from the butcher. It felt cold and horrible. All 4 of her legs were hard and stiff and her hooves felt like they were burning. We treated her the first time for over an hour, slowly working our way over the body towards the legs and ended with her hooves. After the treatment, which she enjoyed (she slept…), she did start to move and went to the water to drink.

During lunch at a workshop, a wren flew into the kitchen through the open kitchen door. While trying to get out, it smacked into the glass of a closed window and hit the floor. We had just learned distance healing, so we immediately put our hands together and began to send energy. At first, the wren lay still and we thought it might be stunned
or even dead. Then it began to struggle. One of it's little toothpick legs was pointing in the wrong direction. We continued to send energy. To my surprise, within seconds the leg moved, and then the bird quickly flipped over with both legs under it and sat for a moment. It walked a little way, and then it flew easily back out the door. Diana Young Georgia, USA The other day I fixed hot dogs and chili for my family. I decided to add mustard to mine but couldn't get it to come out of the squeeze bottle. Jace looked at me and stated, "Dad, let me see it....I'll run Quantum-Touch on it." I handed it to him and he held it in his hands and breathed deeply. He then stated, "It will work now Dad." I squeezed it and IT WORKED!!!! Jace said, "See Dad I told you I could get it to work."
Oh, the FAITH of a CHILD! Len Wright Utah, USA Accident Victim Living Under Life Sentence of Pain
A forty year old woman came to us and stated that she had been in a horrible automobile accident over a year ago and was suffering from debilitating pain. After her accident, she had been in a coma for three months and had several surgeries over the course of the past year. She had weekly physical therapy, which she continued to have. However, the doctors and physical therapists agreed that she would live with pain the rest of her life. The right side of the trunk of her body was a mass of scar tissue from the accident and resulting surgeries. Her right rib cage was put back together with wires holding the ribs in place. It was impossible to touch her in that area without her pain level increasing. Her left shoulder was so painful that she flinched at the lightest touch. She was in so much pain that it was difficult to watch her get on the treatment table because of the pain that the movement caused her. The first three sessions with my partner Reyna and I working carefully in the rib and shoulder areas saw some small improvements. For the next three sessions it appeared that she was moving much easier and she could get on and off the treatment table with no pain. After 15 treatments, she went wake boarding for an entire day. We saw her two days after she spent the day at the beach and she was experiencing muscle soreness from the activity of being pulled behind a boat, but no pain from the areas of her injuries.
