With the making of the Quantum-Touch Interactive Basic Video Workshop, my concern was to be sure that everyone would get his or her questions answered even though there was not a live instructor present. Over the course of 12 basic QT workshops, I asked an assistant to make a list of every question that people asked in the course of the two days. This helped me to feel confident about teaching the work on video, as I knew I was answering all the common questions. It has since become a source of great joy and satisfaction to see how well and effectively people have learned to do QT in a group setting from a video. The basic video workshop has helped QT spread to over 40 countries and has helped thousands of new people directly experience the miracle of this healing work. We have received countless letters describing the thrill and delight of new people who have learned to do this work both in live workshops and in video workshops. On May 21, 2008, Tammy Mead, Certified QT Instructor and Certified QT Practitioner since 2004, of Ontario, Canada, passed peacefully with family by her side. Tammy was always a wonderful representation of our business and our program. She was always delightful to speak with and is remembered for her beautiful and fun sense of humor. She touched many people’s lives with her gentle and giving spirit and personality. We are grateful for the time that we shared with her.

SUPERCHARGING CORE TRANSFORMATION I
In February 2008, I became a full-time practitioner of Quantum-Touch and EFT. I did Brian Whetten’s course on practice building last year from October to December, which made this leap possible for me. I now rent a room at a beautiful centre called Rehab Matters, a centre for rehabilitation work after strokes, accidents and other serious diseases. As a result of Brian’s course, I gave out Gift Certificates to the existing clients of the centre. Not many clients used their Certificates (skepticism?), but [a client] Farhanah, enjoyed her relaxing QT session very much and asked whether I’d like to give a little talk at an annual Mothers’ Day Event at her children’s primary school. I said YES with great enthusiasm – I decided it’s my year to get over my fear of doing talks!
The day came closer and I was battling what to say. Farhanah contacted me telling me it was to be a Mexican themed event and I only have 5 minutes to speak. Well… what to say in 5 minutes?? That felt like tremendous pressure – how do I explain all the benefits in those few minutes? Never mind, I thought, my ‘saving grace’ would be that I will have ample opportunity to do free healing sessions and then I’ll explain more to individuals. The day arrived and I realized there were more challenges than I thought. I was sitting with 9 others at a guest table, not my own table as I’d expected. Oh boy, I thought, where will I put my marketing material…where will I do the healing sessions for the ladies…Ok, never mind…let’s work out Plan B quickly! I was relatively early and started talking to a fellow guest at the table, Liz. Liz was there to do a 20 minute talk about Finding Your Purpose. She mentioned a really annoying head-ache. Aha! Plan B can kick into action! I offered a quick QT session so she could understand what I was there to explain to the ladies. Oh… forgot to mention – A HUNDRED AND FORTY ladies. Not 30, as I originally pictured. Well, her headache went down from a 4 (out of 10), to 3, then to 2, and then to 1.5. Her eyes got bigger and bigger and she sat there with a small grin of disbelief after only 10 minutes of running the energy for her. She was intrigued and I explained in the briefest possible way about energy, resonance, and the client being the healer. I went about the afternoon with mixed feelings. I’m normally a little shy to put myself forward, but in this instance I had no choice. Plan B: I had to walk amongst the tables of eating, tea-drinking, cake-munching, loudly-conversing, laughing, and listening-to-speaker’s moms and ask who has any head-aches, back-aches, or aches of any kind. I had to ‘compete’ with loud Mexican and pumping hip-hop music while there were a few dance numbers. Actually, I was quite amazed at how I managed to stay centered and feel present and was able to concentrate on running the energy amid the ‘noise in the market place.’ That in itself was a great experience; realizing how far I’d come from 3-years ago when I could only run energy for 10-minutes and only when there were NO distractions. I did my 5-minute talk, barely able to really explain Quantum-Touch because of the time limit. I asked people to put their hands up if they were suffering from a head-ache, back-ache or frozen shoulder. Almost half the hands in the room hands went up. Boy…a lot of work to be done. I visited a few of those people after the talk. Head-aches came down; a frozen shoulder could suddenly move again, a knee pain came down from 7 to 4 (out of 10). The relief and gratitude on the last woman’s face was touching. Many ladies asked for my card and details –a few others just came and asked for advice. What an amazing realization…people are really very open to listen to something else other than mainstream medicine. Today, Liz (the first head-ache I treated) visited me at my room for a full appointment. She mentioned that she doesn’t get a lot of chances to speak in front of people and she’s normally petrified when it’s her turn. She said that after the short 10-minute QT session, her head-ache was gone, she felt calm and collected and really peaceful about going up on stage for her talk. The moms were rowdy during her talk – the tea was just being brought in as she started so very few were really paying attention. Even I kept thinking, “How on earth does she concentrate with this racket going on?” Liz told me today that normally she would’ve taken that very personally and felt incompetent and stressed, but this time, she felt none of that. She still felt peaceful, allowing things to be as they are. She actually even said she took one of the decorations home with her to hang on her wall ‘because she wants to remember this day forever.’ She was so stunned at the results of something she’d never heard of or experienced. I feel a wonderful friendship in the making. QT helps head-aches, back-aches, knee-pain, fear of public speaking and it even creates friendships. Wow – don’t you just love this ‘job’, too? I was invited to participate in a “Health Day" at a special school for children with learning disabilities. This was a perfect opportunity to introduce these children to a wonderful gift, called Quantum-Touch.
I gave a mini-workshop on Quantum-Touch to 3 different groups of teenagers. In each group there were about 24 children. I was amazed by the results and reactions of the children. Below are some of the highlights:
One young girl came to the lecture with a caregiver. She seemed very closed and out of sorts with her surroundings. During the exercise practicing Quantum-Touch on one another, she opened up and transformed into a different person; it seemed natural for her to give healing energy. This young girl told us that she felt tense, sad and uncomfortable when she came into the class, but after receiving energy she felt relaxed and happy.
In another class, a young boy told me that he doesn't like to be touched and therefore did not want anyone to place their hands on him and give him QT. However, after about 10-minutes, he called me over and asked if I could give him a session. Not only did he give me permission to touch him, he also allowed others to run energy on him as well.
For me, the most rewarding part of this experience was that my 17-year-old daughter, who dislikes anything to do with alternative medicine or healing, assisted me in the workshops and even gave QT sessions to those children who didn't have a partner.
I received a beautiful thank you note from the school in which they told me that even several days later, the kids remembered the exercises we practiced and could still explain what healing energy is.
I now realize that this healing modality can probably also improve a person's memory.
I had so much fun working with these children; they were so open to giving and receiving healing energy. This was a wonderful opportunity for these teenagers to give to one another and feel the excitement of helping someone. (These are children who because of their learning disabilities are always receiving help, not giving.)
The children were very cooperative and attentive, which was surprising since most are on some type of medication for ADHD [Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder]. Many of the kids approached me and asked where they can learn more about energy healing and the teachers further inquired if QT could help children with learning disabilities.
Quantum-Touch is a wonderful tool that can be taught to children and adults of every age, regardless of their physical or mental level or ability. The positive results of Quantum-Touch are endless!

Israel Turning an Opaque Stone into a Gem (Reprinted from the 10/10/06 QT Newsletter)
One of the great things about Quantum-Touch is that you can continue to make new discoveries for years and years. About four years ago, I was examining a large inexpensive tourmaline with a 10-x loop. I carefully studied it in the sun, but found no color features except for its extremely dark uniform green color. Each day I ran energy into the tourmaline with great intensity and focus, and would go outside and study it. Soon I started to notice thousands of small specks of color. There were many colors and over time, they shifted and became glassy and eventually gem-like in appearance. This was unfortunately before I bought a digital camera, so I don’t have a "before" picture. (Then again, at that time, I never would have imagined what would happen to that tourmaline.) Over the course of about 9 months and lots of energy work, the tourmaline became extraordinary and gem like. Picture one is of that energized stone today. I could probably take 50 pictures of this crystal to show many of its interesting color features. (Also, I read on a website that tourmalines very rarely change color.) I had some success on a second rough tourmaline. This one was smaller and also a very dark green, but this one had broken edges. Amazingly, the broken edges responded most profoundly to the “healing” as you can see in the bright green area in Picture two. Later, I tried this on three black tourmalines that had smooth edges, and none of them responded in a way I could see. So far, only very dark green (almost black) tourmalines have shown change, and the broken areas shifted first. To see the pictures, please go to: http://classic.quantumtouch.com/Wheat.php.
