Quantum-Touch and Animals

Your Love Matters: Animals Respond to Quantum-Touch

Denise with horse

While in South Africa in March 2007, I was delighted to tour a Moholoholo Rehab Center for wild animals. While there, I talked with a guide/caregiver regarding several of the animals. The first was a hawk who had flown into an electrical wire. Overhead electrical wires are new to the Krueger National area and these animals aren't used to having them in their flight patterns. So, according to the rehab folks, birds with broken wings that can no longer fly are becoming more common. I was listening to the commentary; running energy to the bird just for general healing, using the Quantum-Touch 4-4 breath to equalize the space between the bird and myself. Suddenly the bird hopped off his tethered perch and I put my arm up to cover my face. Everyone was stunned that he would land on my arm. The bird and I stayed like this until the commentary was over.

When working with wild animals, it's a good start to slow your own energy down so that the animal can entrain to a lower level first, as you bring your energy up to a comfortable level the trust level of the bird or animal will raise also.

baby zebra

As an example, the next picture of the 4 week old zebra can only show the problems this little had. As a way of explanation, he had been with his family when he ran into an electric fence. These are becoming more common as the farming population expands into what had been wilderness areas. While he should have been left to die the farmer felt bad for the zebra and brought him into the rehab center. The baby approached everyone on the tour, nuzzeling to smell for his mother. When he approached me I started running energy, vortexing and moving as much energy as possible as his nose nuzzeled into my cupped hands. He stayed in my hands for 5-7 minutes then backed away, leaving me with this great picture. You can see his burns and gapping skin, but his attitude was lighter and he moved more easily. I wish I could show you progression pictures maybe next year when I return to South Africa I'll get a chance to see him again.

It's often difficult to know when to run energy on wild animals. My rule of thumb is to send " love" as I'm in nature. When I'm viewing a zoo animal, a squirel running up my trees or my own cat, all animals will respond to the human love vibration. Remember:" your love matters" .

A Story about Quantum-Touch and a Horse

I live on a ranch in North Central Texas. This October 2007, 45 minutes until dusk, I received a call from my 21 year old son, Lucas. He said, " Mom, if there was EVER a time to do QT it's right now. Pepe's down, in pain...I think he might die." " Is he drinking" , I asked? " Nope" . " Colic-ing" ? " Nope" . (Pepe is our beloved 18 year old stud horse. I knew the situation to be emergent, as Lucas' horse sense is extensive).

Immediately, I began distance work. I called a friend who had just completed a workshop with me and requested her distance help as well. Walking to the lot, I could see Pepe down, surrounded by 4 young cowboys doing everything they remembered to do, urging him to drink, or at least sit up. Pep's breathing was labored, and he seemed to feel a lot of pain and fear. I scanned his body and placed my hands near his left flank. Lucas decided to secure a shot of painkiller in case Pep's pain would not ease. 15 minutes into the treatment, Pepe made an effort to sit up, and could not. However, his breathing was no longer labored and he seemed to be more at peace. (We never administered the meds). I intuitively moved to various spots on his back end. 30 minutes into the session, I felt that Pepe had decided to transition. Honoring his decision, I said," Lucas, you know how to do this, why don't you join in and let's help Pep go" ?... 15 minutes later, as the sun was setting and the VET was pulling up and Pepe's mate had begun cantering around us in a circle whinnying, Pepe leapt up onto all 4 legs and drank some water. The vet, confused, said " Boy, ya'll must have done something to this horse" ! WE cheered Pepe. Lucas laughed a bit and said, " More than you can imagine" . I was pleased to learn that that Lucas and the Doctor later had a converstion about Quantum Touch, and that he was open to the possibilities.
