Engaging with Curiosity

I am Mayumi Pachkoski. I am a holistic esthetician, a business coach for energy healers, and a Quantum-Touch Level 1 and 4 instructor. This is the story of one of my clients and how she began her Quantum-Touch journey after first coming to me as a facial client. I wanted to submit this story not only as a client success story, but also as a reminder that we never know how we will meet our next energy healing client or student. 

Leiba had been my facial client for a while. She wanted to continue preserving her good skin and be proactive as she began to notice some signs of aging. During sessions she would often ask questions wanting to understand things in depth, as she was formulating her own skin care products. I knew Leiba was interested in holistic skin care, however, I never thought that Leiba had an interest in any of the healing arts. I had never discussed with her that I utilize energy healing while giving a facial.

It was not that I was trying to hide what I do. I simply thought it was unnecessary information if a client was interested only in a facial. With clients who do not ask questions about it, I usually let them know only that they will feel very relaxed while I am performing the facial. Afterward, some may ask much deeper questions because the depth of relaxation feels totally different from what they have experienced with other types of facials.

Being Guided to Speak-Up

One day, when Leiba came in, she simply stated her concern: "I am having pain in my right knee. I have been doing many therapies, like dry needling and other things, but the pain relief is only temporary." My clients often begin talking about something I can work on with energy healing while providing a facial, without knowing it, as if their higher guides are letting them say it to me. On that day, I immediately knew that something was guiding her to mention it, which intuitively meant that I needed to work on that matter. I knew that I needed to reconfigure my facial process a little differently for her appointment.

Then I replied, "Oh, when did it start? What did you do? I can use energy healing on your right knee while giving you the facial. I will just reduce the time spent on the other massages." Leiba said that she had traveled abroad recently and had also started playing pickleball. She agreed to let me pay more attention to her right knee. 

A Quantum-Touch Session

My main focus on energy healing was during the 15 to 20 minutes while the facial mask was drying. I moved my chair to her right side and sandwiched her right knee between my hands. I could feel vibrations and a sensation of heat. To me, this indicated that the issue was still new and much easier to release. It had not yet sunk fully into a deeper layer of her energy system. Or perhaps Leiba was simply READY to let go. I used all the tools that I had learned through Quantum-Touch and the vibrations and heat subsided, and her knee felt much better. Then I returned to removing her facial mask and completing the treatment.

After the facial, Leiba was surprised and said to me, "Mayumi, the pain is gone. I have been receiving weekly therapy sessions for my right knee, but they give me only temporary relief. You did not touch it for that long, and the pain is gone. What kind of energy healing did you use? 

Explaining Quantum-Touch

I explained that I had learned many different modalities and use them as tools, but the main one is Quantum-Touch. I elevate everything with Quantum-Touch. In that sense, everything I do becomes part of Quantum-Touch because its principles, breathing, focus, and resonance are always present in my work.

Leiba was surprised, and she began telling me about her own energy healing journey. Until that moment, neither of us had realized how much commonalities we shared.

Her massage therapist, J, had mentioned Quantum-Touch a long time ago and had shown Leiba a Quantum-Touch book to read. The massage therapist had not yet learned Quantum-Touch and had simply kept it as useful information. Around that time, Leiba became interested in Quantum-Touch. She wanted to have a session with someone and contacted practitioners through the Quantum-Touch website. In the end, however, she decided not to receive any sessions. The interest remained with her, even though she did not pursue it at that time.

Hiding in Plain Sight

Leiba was amazed that a Quantum-Touch practitioner had actually been right in front of her all along. I had given her a small taste of how quickly Quantum-Touch can create resonance, and she was able to release her pain rather quickly. Leiba had been studying energy healing for quite a long time and was serious about learning. We simply had not known about each other's interest in energy healing! I also told her that I teach Quantum-Touch, which meant that she could learn it in person. Leiba was so excited about this synchronicity.

Since then, she has never looked back. She enrolled in workshops, one after the next, learned from each experience, and practiced in between. Now she is aiming to become a Quantum-Touch practitioner. As she practices Quanum-Touch, she has started receiving requests for healing from others and is beginning to build a client base. This was the right time for Leiba to learn. Somehow, I was guided to have this joyful opportunity to demonstrate Quantum-Touch and talk about it with her.

Going Deeper

A simple conversation during one facial treatment became the fastest gateway for her to be guided toward becoming a Quantum-Touch practitioner. Leiba is excited about her progress. She always texts me when she has questions, keeps in touch with other workshop attendees, and practices! It is wonderful to have a community of like-minded people.

As an instructor, I try to be mindful about checking in with students from time to time, asking how they are progressing, and answering their questions and doubts. Leiba is now very close to becoming a Quantum-Touch practitioner.

I love witnessing students begin to work on themselves, release whatever no longer serves them, and feel lighter. Their faces look brighter with smiles, and they become excited to talk about what has happened not only in their own lives, but also in the lives of others. They can become facilitators and witnesses for other people's healing journeys, and they begin to feel a deeper sense of fulfillment in life.

A Way of Life

We never know how we will be guided to Quantum-Touch. Your current profession may not be strictly in energy healing, but you can incorporate Quantum-Touch into anything, at any time and anywhere. A client may come for one service and unexpectedly discover another possibility. A casual comment may open a door that has been waiting for the right moment. You never know how your next client or student will show up, or how one experience may guide that person onto a new path. Quantum-Touch simply becomes our way of life.
