Remember Your Light!

By Chaya Silberstein

You are a vehicle of light. Whatever stage of the journey you’re on—whether you’re just discovering energy healing or you’re a seasoned practitioner, or you use light-work in other capacities—welcome to the true you! A you that is endless, radiant, known and unknown.

When faced with tragedy, remember your light. When faced with fear, remember your light. When faced with grief, illness, hardship—remember your light. You are the sum of your parts and so much more. You are the collective as you are the single spoke in a wheel and your power to affect and change the world around you is so much greater than you can ever know.

Maybe you’re alone in a room practicing Quantum-Touch, or meditating, or praying, or simply expressing gratitude—you might not think what you’re doing is enough, but actually you’re helping lift the vibration of this world, and countless others, rippling backwards and forward through time. One little light here, one little light there—it all adds up.

When sadness or despair strikes, it is normal to want to escape or fight, but if you imagine yourself a candle and your breath the match, there you go—radiating hope.

As you radiate hope, it grows. At the same time, you don’t discard the negative feelings that arise, but rather use them as fodder like mud to a lotus.

Feeling is often misconstrued as thinking—going into the why, when and how—and expressing the extreme emotion that comes up. But what if instead, you invite the feeling to express itself as if it was a good friend coming for tea and you simply listen on a sensorial level without judgement? Something interesting then begins to happen, the emotion starts to quiet down, no longer feeling rejected—and harmony and balance begins to take its place. Something else happens too: compassion grows.

As you have compassion for yourself, you naturally begin to extend it towards others, even those you don’t agree with. You begin to see people as people, not just as representations of the ideas and beliefs they hold. For ideas are “mind” and minds can be changed, especially the monkey mind when it learns how to quiet down. And there you are in a vast open space, one soul to the other, encompassing the vibration of love.
