The Making of a Quantum-Touch Energy Healer

When Quantum-Touch asked me to be one of their website bloggers, my initial reaction was panic. Although I spent over 40 years as a professional communicator in the corporate world, I retired at a time when email and websites were all we had. Social media and instant communication became routine after I retired, so the learning curve just seemed like it would be too steep. My years of practicing as well as briefly teaching mass communications seemed like poor preparation for this new electronic age.

Then I considered how far I have come in the world of energy healing since my introduction to it in 1998. I was still in the corporate world when I received my Reiki Level I and II attunements so I knew I should carefully choose whom I would tell about it. I couldnt keep it to myself, however, and soon began spreading the word about the benefits of energy healing. I was hooked and my friends began looking at me strangely.

In the early 2000s, I began studying other energy healing modalities, such as chakra-balancing and reconnection. I realized how much there was out there and that it was available to anyone who was interested. I honed my skills and increased my ability to sense energy flow but I was still just playing around with it.

Then I was introduced to Quantum-Touch in January 2009 and it changed my life. After my fellow students used Q-T to straighten my severely bowed legs in only 20 minutes.

I realized I was onto something so profoundly effective that I couldnt possibly keep it to myself. The Universe began sending me healing opportunities non-stop and it only took me nine months to gain Practitioner status. On a roll, I pursued additional advanced workshops and gained Instructor status nine months after that. Soon I was giving Level I workshops in two states, Texas and North Carolina, working with clients both in person and by long distance, and integrating other energy healing modalities I had learned with Quantum-Touch.

Now Im doing this Quantum-Touch blog. Im on a learning curve about how to manage it and Im sure there are plenty of you who will help me keep on track. I intend to keep it interesting and informative but it will take reader participation to give it the spark it needs for all of us to learn more about this energy healing business.

After all, each one of us is unique with unique experiences and needs. I hope to hear about yours so we can learn from each other.
