I’ve said it before and I will say it again, I love Quantum-Touch!
Driving down my road a couple of weeks ago, I happened upon my neighbor and her children out for an evening stroll enjoying the lovely spring weather. Although, I was in a bit of a time crunch as I had to pick my daughter up, I stopped to say hello as I hadn’t seen her much over the winter.
As we chatted and caught up briefly, she told me about how she had been having some discomfort with her back. She told me that she had been to see a couple of different healthcare people and, although it helped, she was still having some concerns.
As she told me her story, the practitioner in me started kicking in (I am an Instructor/practitioner in Quantum-Touch) so as I sat in my car, window down, seatbelt on, radio playing lightly in the background. I told her to stand close to the car window and turn around. I leaned out and measured her hips to see if they were aligned. This is something that is taught in Quantum-Touch and that I do before every session. You check the hips and occipital ridge to see if they are as balanced as possible so the energy can flow optimally and if not, you run the energy to align them as best as possible. I put my hands on her hips and we both noted that they were out of balance.
As my time was getting shorter and I knew that my daughter would be waiting, I asked her permission to help. She gave consent, so I told her to turn around and face me. As I sat in my car and she stood on the side of the road, I focused and amplified the energy in the area between her eyebrows concentrating on her sphenoid bone (part of the skull). She started to teeter a bit and she asked me excitedly, “What is it that you are doing? And then exclaimed, “I can feel that!” It took all of about a minute and I told her to approach the car window again and turn around. I measured again and we both felt the results: her hips were now aligned. She stood back and shifted her body around a bit and looked at me and said, incredulously, “My discomfort is gone!”
We both had big smiles on our faces and I apologized to her because I had to scoot. I was late now! As I drove off, I turned up the radio and as I rocked out to the tunes, I had a good chuckle and realized that in all the years that I had been teaching and practicing it, that was my first drive-by Quantum-Touch.
A couple of days later, I was hand-delivered delectably delicious muffins made with eggs from the local farmer; flax seed; honey straight from the hive; and chocolate chips to boot! With it was a card and inside, it said, “The road treatment got me on the road to wellness and I so thank you for making time to help me.” What a lovely gesture and one of the best thank-you’s ever!
