Self Created Health is a totally stand alone workshop in terms of the content and the approach. It is an advanced workshop offered by Quantum-Touch. This workshop is often attended by those working with others in therapeutic settings and also those wishing to transform and heal their own physical/emotional issues.

It has taken me 29 years to develop this seminar. Based on my own insights and the work of many great people, I managed to piece together a highly effective system for discovering, releasing, and transforming emotional causation into love, gratitude and beyond.

Self Created Health offers a space for people to literally empty out their anger in the quantum field, without ever having to communicate it physically to the person involved. The level of physical energy that is then freed up and can be used for healing can be HUGE, especially for a person that is willing to connect to their feelings.

As the saying often goes “when you feel it, you heal it.”

Self Created Health is a process created to safely feel and heal. For many people, it provides immense release and freedom from repressed anger – and an elegant way to transform this energy back to self-love.

7 Steps to Health

Step 1

It could be said that Self Created Health is for people who are ready and want to get to the bottom of their physical condition. Self Created Health takes you way beyond that “point”, and immediately gives you a way to understand the hidden yet mind blowingly obvious clues in a person’s language. In step 1 you are taught the Discovery Process. The Discovery Process is a brilliant and fast way to find the exact emotional event that triggered the physical condition. Using a specific set of questions you are able to help others accurately pinpoint the event they need to release.

The key to remember is that unless you know what you are looking for it is usually difficult to find. This is especially true for seeing our own stories and being able to detach from them to see clearly enough. That is why the discovery process is done with a partner in Self Created Health, because your partner will be able to help you find the emotional trigger event to your physical condition within 45 minutes. Once you have practiced this process a few times you will be able to do this within 20 – 30 minutes. The accuracy of this process is astounding and even though I have now done this with clients hundreds of times, I continue to be gobsmacked at the precise nature of our actions and how they play out in our body.

Knowing the cause of the condition usually releases about 20-30% of the symptoms immediately. The rest release throughout the remaining steps in the process.

Steps 2 – 7

Step 2 focuses on releasing the most underlying emotion of all physical conditions – repressed anger.

All the repressed and unacknowledged anger is expressed which frees up an enormous amount of energy for healing to take place. Using a specific, emotionally safe framework you are able to fully let go of the anger that has been expressing itself physically within your body.

Step 3 creates a space for you to huge personal insights, the kind of insights that literally transform that way you interact with others and yourself forever. This involves taking responsibility for ourselves and our feelings which is incredibly liberating both physically and emotionally.

Step 4 invokes a level of such deep self care and embodying the realisation that we have been blaming others for the way we treat ourselves. This inspires step 5,6,7 which is done by using Richard’s own unique way of working with the ancient Hawaiian healing technique “Ho’oponopono” which include the essential ingredients – forgiveness and ultimately ending up where all healing must go to truly heal – Self Love.

Whilst many people have already touched on various steps in the process before, it is the very specific order of the process which produces such profound results. Each step relies on fully completing the step before in order to arrive at the end result – a complete transformation into self love, which results in having gratitude for having had the condition!

Self Created Health requires the commitment to see the entire process through to the other side and the rewards are the experience of a physical, emotional and spiritual healing. There is no hands on healing in Self Created Health, it is more a spiritual and emotional healing of the psyche given in a way that is so loving and easy to learn.

Everyone who is interested in helping themselves, loved ones and taking their client work to another level should learn Self Created Health. I can personally say that it has transformed my own healing work and practise and allowed me the privilege to help many people at a very transformative level.

Level 3: Becoming Whole (Formerly Self Created Health) Course Program

Becoming Whole is a gentle, step-by-step process that guides people from pain and distress into expanded love and well-being—especially when symptoms recur or don’t fully resolve with energy work alone. Level 3 focuses on discovering and transforming the emotional roots of physical conditions (mind–body), based on the understanding that consciousness influences the body and that our Inner Healer orchestrates all true change. You’ll learn discovery questions to locate core emotions behind symptoms, safe methods to release and process those emotions, and heart-centered practices that elevate self-esteem, improve communication, and deepen body awareness. Level 3 is rooted in Quantum-Touch principles: Life Force Energy, love as the essence of healing, breath–intention–attention, resonance and entrainment, innate body intelligence, and trust. You’ll learn how to recognize and allow natural healing responses (catharsis) across physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels. Originally developed from Richard Gordon’s decades of work (first taught as Self Created Health), Level 3 is a self-help, energy-based pathway—not counseling—that reframes symptoms as meaningful “sign language” from within. By the end of Part 1, you’ll have a clear map for partnering with your Inner Healer to shift limiting patterns and open to universal love and joy.

Part 2 walks you through the seven-step Becoming Whole process, a structured path that reliably transforms pain, disease, and disharmony into universal love and wholeness. You begin with Step 1: Discovery, a focused, 15–30 minute inquiry using nine verbatim questions to understand the emotional root beneath symptoms. Answers are recorded word-for-word, then highlighted and cross-checked to confirm causation (often ~80% fit to a past event). Clear helper/participant guidelines keep the process precise and non-directive, while the “Feelings into Words” exercise builds a richer vocabulary for body sensations and joy. With the cause identified, Step 2: Release teaches safe, practical methods for moving emotion out of the system—e.g., anger (three-day letter, single-event meditation), deep hurt/sadness (timed 20-minute feeling + one hour of nurturing), plus targeted approaches for guilt (find the anger beneath), shame (return others’ judgments), fear (distinguish real vs. imagined), worry/anxiety (decode into core emotions), and depression (often “repressed anger”). Insight then unfolds naturally: Step 3: Insight (“How have I been doing this to myself/others?”) leads to Step 4: Remorse (sincere caring), which opens Step 5: Forgiveness using a Ho‘oponopono dialogue (“I’m sorry. Please forgive me. I love you.”). As forgiveness stabilizes, Step 6: Self-Love expands organically, culminating in Step 7: Greater Self-Love, a sustained state of universal love and wholeness. Symptoms often ease or resolve; if they recur, they serve as a barometer, pointing to what wants to clear next.

Part 3 shows you how to live the Becoming Whole process in real life. It addresses special cases (e.g., childhood conditions often mirror parents’ patterns; infant fear—simply hold and run energy; “soul contracts” appear as repeating themes that reflect your own growth edges) and cautions against spiritual bypass—jumping to forgiveness without first feeling and releasing emotion. The same approach applies to acute and chronic issues, to addictions (work the emotions underneath), and to ongoing situations (your relief comes from processing feelings, not changing facts). It distinguishes real emotion from “negative ego” and encourages cultural politeness without abandoning inner honesty. An awareness exercise, Energy Within Feeling, trains you to map emotions (worry, sadness, anger, fear—and love, joy, gratitude, freedom) to images in nature, deepening body–energy literacy. You’ll also review and practice L3 tools, then focus on bringing love into the self by restoring self-esteem: naming and clearing patterns of self-importance, overt/silent self-pity, and their blend, and choosing love while running energy where these states feel strongest. To regain healthy self-esteem, cultivate honesty, responsibility, integrity, self-trust, non-harm, and the habit of “listening to whispers” before life has to shout. Finally, empathic listening—reflecting others’ words neutrally—builds real connection. As Richard Gordon notes: our love matters so much that when it’s blocked, we suffer; spend the minutes to feel fully, and the transformation is profound.
